Today in Habs History: May 8th Edition

 

1973: The Canadiens and the Chicago Black Hawks combined to set an NHL record with 15 goals in one Stanley Cup Finals game. Chicago won 8-7 in Game 5.

 

 

1993: Kirk Muller scores 11:27 into overtime to give the Canadiens a 4-2 win over the Buffalo Sabres in Game Four of the Adams Division Final. The Habs swept the series in four games, with the final three all going into overtime.
