Today in Habs History: May 17th Edition

 

 

1979: Ken Dryden became the first goalie in NHL history to score a point in the Stanley Cup Finals. He drew an assist on Jacques Lemaire's goal at 17:10 of the third period, to give the Canadiens a 4-1 win over the New York Rangers in Game 3 of the Finals.
