Today in Habs History: May 12th Edition

1977: Guy Lafleur scored twice and added two assists to lead Montreal to a 4-2 win at Boston, in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals. The win gave the Canadiens a 3-0 lead in the series.

 

 

1987: Larry Robinson scored a goal and added three assists to lead the Canadiens to a 5-2 win, in Game 5 of the Wales Conference Championships.

 

2010: Brian Gionta scored two goals, and Scott Gomez and Mike Cammalleri each had two points, as the Canadiens defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-2, in Game Seven of the Easten Conference Semi-Finals.
