1919: An electrical fire consumes the Canadiens’ home rink, The Jubilee Arena. The club would relocate to the Mount Royal Arena.


1978: Guy Lafleur scored twice and added three assists, and Ken Dryden recorded his 9th career playoff shutout as the Canadiens won 8-0 over the Detroit Red Wings, in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Quarter-Finals, for their sixth straight playoff road win (over two years).


1991: Shayne Corson scored two goals and added two assists as the Canadiens won 6-2 over the Boston Bruins, at the Forum in Game 4 of the Adams Division Finals.
