Today in Habs History: February 22nd Edition

 

1936: Toe Blake score his first NHL goal and Wilf Cude records his 14th career shutout as the Canadiens won 1-0 over the New York Americans.

1941: Blake scores a goal and adds three assists in the Habs’ 7-3 win over the Chicago Black Hawks.

1979: Michel Larocque recorded his 12th career shutout and Guy Lapointe added four assists in Montreal’s 12-0 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins.
